The hotel was lovely and great value for money. Really clean and comfy, fantastic location, lovely staff. I like the traditional decoration of the room and although it was small-ish it was plenty of space and the high ceilings make it feel very grand. There are lots of mirrors and a safe and fridge in the room. Breakfast was good, lots of selection including fresh fruit and proper coffee. It was nice to have food before going out for the day, but there is also a supermarket 30 seconds walk away and hundreds of restaurants and cafes all around. We stayed in a room on the main lobby area and it was not loud at all and we were not woken up by any noise. They came in and made the bed and new towels etc every day while we were out. The closest water bus stop is about 5mins walk away and the stop to get you to Murano/burano is close too. We were able to leave our bags all day after we checked out before we left Venice. Couldn’t ask for much better for one of the lowest prices I could find for our stay! I would definitely recommend!

The property is an amazing location with good walking distance both to the strict centre of the city and the train station/boat stop to the airport. We got an amazing room with a stunning view of the street and the canal, the decor of the room was lovely and we felt like we traveled back in time (in a good way!). The staff was exceptionally nice and supported us with all the queries, including exact directions to the airport. We went to Venice for my boyfriend’s birthday and a stay in such a lovely place made the weekend even more special. On our next trip to Venice we will definitely want to stay in the same hotel! Thank you for having us

We had a wonderful stay at Ca'Gottardi. We felt very well welcomed from the first moment as Diego was friendly and gave us important information about Venice. He recommended some nice restaurants nerby and for sure we were not disappointed. The room was very clean and comfortable with high ceilings, the design is classic and the furniture is old, but we liked it. We had a kettle in the room, tea and espresso coffee... for us it was a big plus. The hotel is in a nice area, not so crowded (first week of January) but still close to S.Marco. Thank you for your hospitality! Irina & David

The hotel's location was pretty central for most of the things we wanted to do, although a couple meeting places were a 20 minute walk across the city. It was very close to the water bus station. The room was beautifully decorated and the beds were comfortable after a long, hot day of exploring. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful; they held our bags for a few hours after checkout but before we left Venice. Our room had a canal view that was very entertaining for our kids. Breakfast was delicious, especially the fresh pastries!

Staff were lovely. Best I came across on my trip. The breakfast room / reception was beautiful, the staff make you a coffee to order and it’s a full continental. Location was also great, Venice isn’t particularly big and this hotel was the first stop on the water ferry from the airport, but note there will be a 10/15 min walk over 3-5 bridges. Nice street with everything you could need and handily opposite a co-op!
